Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma gave India a fiery start after Australia captain Mitchell Marsh chose to bowl first.

Gill smashed  five boundaries on his way to 29 off 16 balls,

while Abhishek Struck made two massive sixes in his quick 23 off 13 deliveries

Their fearless approach put Australia’s bowlers under immediate pressure

and silenced the Local crowd before the weather took control of the game

Cover came on quickly as lighting flashed over the Brisbane sky. Umpires halted  play for safety concerns, and despite several inspections, rain continued to fall.

The delay frustrated both players and fans,

with thousands waiting in the stands as radar screens showed persistent storms over Queensland

Having already secured victory in the five-match contest, India entered this game with a 3-1 lead in the series.

Suryakumar Yadav, leading the team in the absence of senior players, stuck to India’s aggressive approach.

The strategy once again paid off with both openers attacking from the first over

and forcing Australia’s bowlers to rethink their plan.

As the rain persisted, social media buzzed with reaction under the “India vs Aus highlights”

fans praised the Young Indian openers for their intent, with many calling it a glimpse of the team’s future.

One user posted that “Gill and Abhishek are setting  new standards for India’s T20 powerplays.”

Others joked about the weather, saying even the Brisbane sky couldn’t handle India’s firepower.

The rain delay threatened the match with abandonment, which would give India a 3–1 series win.

If play doesn’t resume, India will officially claim the series and extend their unbeaten run in bilateral T20s this year.

Cricket experts believe this performance shows how India’s next generation has evolved.

Former cricketer  Akash Chopra said, “This team does not wait; They dominate from ball one. India’s intent is the real difference maker.

The umpires will soon make another inspection, but the chances of play resuming remain slim

Regardless of the result, India have once again asserted their dominance over Australia in White ball cricket.

The series has been a showcase of India’s depth, confidence and aggressive new identity in T20 cricket.

Even if the match ends without a ball bowled,

india has already made a loud and clear statement that this team doesn’t play it safe. It’s a place to win.
